Automotive field

Silicone rubber and silicone resin are widely used in the automotive industry due to their excellent biocompatibility, chemical stability, and high and low-temperature resistance.     Silicone rubber is often used to manufacture automotive seals (such as door and window seals), shock absorbers, and O-rings, due to its good elasticity, aging resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures (-60°C to 200°C). Its insulation properties make silicone rubber an ideal material for cable sheathing and ignition wire coatings, while silicone resin is used to encapsulate sensors or circuit boards, providing moisture and chemical protection.
