Product Applications:
- Used as a glass fiber sizing agent and in the manufacture of water repellent agents.
- Used as a modifier for polymer materials, a modifier for ethylene propylene rubber, and a crosslinking agent for silane crosslinked cable materials.
- It is a bifunctional molecule that can react with both inorganic fillers and organic polymers. It can be used as an adhesion promoter for various mineral-filled polymers, improving their mechanical and electrical properties, especially after exposure to moisture. Once combined with inorganic fillers, it makes the filler surface hydrophobic. This effect improves the compatibility between the filler and the polymer, resulting in better dispersibility, lower melt viscosity, and easier processing of filled plastics.
